Sustainable society also means that social conditions and relationships need to change in favor of resources, sustainable society is where social justice rules…”, stated Xhabir Deralla, President of CIVIL – Center for Freedom, organizer of the Conference “Society Without Borders”, at which, as a final event of the project bearing the same title, citizen activists took part, politicians, trade union representatives, diplomats…
In his address, Deralla stressed that after the many years of the regime, he expects for Macedonia to slowly step into a situation in which social justice will become part of our social and political life, a real thing, a daily thing…
The statement is part of the project “Society Without Borders”, which CIVIL – Center for Freedom is implementing with the support of the German “Heinrich Bὅll” Foundation. The goal of the project is to promote and educate the citizens of Macedonia about the Citizen’s Charter, a global document for promoting civil rights and active participation of citizens in decision-making processes.
