DEATH CASE IN PRISON A 23-year-old young man died in the Shutka detention facility at 2.30 pm. One hour after the incident, CIVIL received an anonymous report about the event. The Director of the Skopje Prison, Esad Rahic, in a statement for CIVIL Media confirmed this information: “It concerns a 23-year-old young man, who has been in custody since December last year”. He denied that the detainee had been in quarantine the past several days and announced more details after the investigation that is being carried out at the moment, but also the autopsy of the deceased, who had been addicted to drugs and had not shown signs of COVID-19.
HOLY COMMUNION The government has no intention of closing the churches during the Easter holidays, referring to the inalienable right to religious observance, but at the same time intends to close people in their homes by introducing a curfew that will last 85 hours, after those with the right to religious worship will visit churches and receive Holy Communion from a shared spoon.
CAPACITIES The Director of the City General Hospital, Hristijan Kostov, appearing as a guest on the TV Telma show “Top Topic”, said that reorganization has been made in the hospital and that the capacity will expand in accordance to the number of patients who will contact the Triage center, coming from across the country. “We started with one-third, and now around 70% of the hospital capacity has been put in service of this virus”, stated Kostov.
NATO Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Radmila Sekerinska this afternoon participated in a teleconference meeting of NATO Defence Ministers dedicated to the fight against Covid-19, where viewpoints and opinions of the countries were presented in regards to the spreading of the virus and measures for assistance to the civil authorities for reducing the consequences of its spread.

PERMITS Activists for stray dogs, who are part of registered associations, in conditions of restricted movement during the upcoming extended weekend will receive permits to feed and take care of homeless animals, decided today the Crisis Headquarters, informed the Ministry of Information Society and Administration.
WHO World Health Organization Special Envoy on COVID-19, David Nabarro, urged for all accusations against the organization to be put aside until the virus has been defeated. Previously, US President Donald Trump said that he had instructed his administration to temporarily stop funding to the WHO.
