EASTER The Government has decided to extend the ban and the special regime of restriction of movement throughout the country during the Easter holidays. The ban on movement will start from April 17, 2020 (Friday) at 4pm until April 21, 2020 (Tuesday) at 5am.
ISOLATION Strict isolation of 21 days for Macedonian citizens returning from high-risk countries, as well as stopping retirement procedures of medical workers during the state of emergency, decided the government.

STATE MATURA EXAM “SDSM considers that this school year there should be no state matura exam. We demand cancelling of the state matura exam for this school year due to the conditions under which the educational process is being carried out, caused by the protective measures against the coronavirus. All student should be exempted from taking the state matura exam, while faculties that have greater competition for enrolment, should make the selection through an entrance exam”, announced today SDSM Secretary General, Ljupco Nikolovski.
DISTANCE The Army of the Republic of North Macedonia today was in Prilep and will be engaged in front of banks and markets with the purpose to use its authority in order to maintain social distance between citizens, to protect themselves against the coronavirus.
TESTING In the Municipality of Cheshinovo Obleshevo one employee who has tested is negative for Covid-19, and results are awaited for other employees who have been in contact with Mayor Goranco Krstev, who is in self-isolation more than 12 days after having tested positive for coronavirus. Krstev informed that he feels fine, but there is also disinformation going around throughout the municipality, for which he has reacted and reported to the police. The police, as Krstev says, has still not taken any measures against the person spreading the fake news.
